Tall Bookcase
This tall bookcase is a hybrid design, drawing on three influences; Dutch for the bonnet, French for the legs and Portuguese for the apron. Early in the design phase there were nine options; three each for the apron, the finished ends, and the rear legs.
I'm showing a portion of the shop drawings below. All critical details where drawn at fullscale on subsequent pages. This was done to simplify cabinet shop layout and to eliminate misinterpretation.
